I took my Jr High son to the school today...
We checked out where his locker was and let him try his combination a few times.
We went down all the halls to find all of his classes. He mapped out where he will go for his "A" days and "B" days.
It was fun to see my 'little" man out into the big wide world of 7th grade.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny talking to 6th graders from Ryan's class and asking them if they are excited about going to junior high. The number one reason for their excitement that I have gotten from asking lots of kids is that they are excited to have a locker. Funny, huh? I then tell them I had a locker starting in first grade and then they seem a little jealous. This is a big step for him. A lot of things in life change when you start junior high. I don't envy kids having to survive this age.
